I've been lucky enough to play and review mobile apps for a few years now. It's been fascinating to watch the explosion of games like Words With Friends, Candy Crush Saga and Angry Birds. Primarily focusing on the free app charts, I have delved into the realm of two genres: Picture Quiz Apps and Room Escape Puzzlers.
In the Picture Quiz App realm, there have been a few pioneers that have come along and created new sectors. Games like Logos Quiz and Whats The Word paved the way for numerous copycat and bandwagon clone apps to flood the market.
After the initial push, a developer by the name of Man Zhang created a game, called Hi Guess The Brand, which became popular enough to create Hi Guess The Movie. Having two successful games was better than one and he single-handedly created his own flood of apps with Hi Guess The Food, Hi Guess The Places, Hi Guess The Restaurant and a whole littany of other theme-based variations.
Happily, his development team decided to expand their portfolio and have entered the Room Escape arena. The first title, in this new class of games, is called Can You Steal It? The premise is that you are a safecracker and able to find anything of value to take. It doesn't matter what the item is, if it's hidden, you can find it.
Like other room escape games, there is a sequence to finding clues in each room, in order to escape. Hidden keys, five digit number codes, rechargable battery cords, vials of liquid and more await. The intricacies within each puzzle are numerous and the graphics are every bit as fresh as the original "Hi Guess" franchise.
The game has recently debuted with 12 levels and more on the way. I was able to get to Level 8 before I started having trouble and quickly found a few clues at Can You Steal It Walkthrough. Luckily, I've only had to go there just a few times, when in a pinch. It's nice to know that if it's taking me too long to figure out the pattern, I can see it demonstrated online and get right back into the flow of the game. If you enjoy a good puzzle or are a fan of the room escape grouping of games, this game is worth the time investment.

100 Pics Quiz
I've been fortunate enough to try several of the trivia quiz apps that have appeared in the free section of the iTunes App Store. The funny thing about these apps are that they have an enormous selection of theme-based games.
Obviously, the era pieces like Guess The 90s and 80s are popular, but so are Guess The Restaurant, Hi Guess The Brand, Close Up Pics and dozens more. I took a shot on downloading 100 Pics Quiz because I was curious to see how the game flowed and its overall functionality. I equate this game to me kicking over a rock and finding a diamond. This game is phenomenal.
It doesn't matter what topics you enjoy the most, there is something here for everyone. Not only is this fun for adults, but category packs like U.S. States, I Heart Italy and Flags are great ways for children to learn and prepare for school.
At the beginning of the game, you start off with a few free category packs. Inside those packs, you are given one large image that is covered up by four blank panels. You can try to guess the word, based on the letters underneath the image or if you don't know what it is, you can tap one of the panels to get a peak at the picture. The more times you tap a panel, the fewer coins you will earn for a correct guess.
As you earn coins, the goal is to buy up more category packs because eventually you will complete all of your free packs. While playing this game, I got a bit impatient. Every time my coin bank went past 100, I was buying up a new category. This caused me problems on more than one occasion.
When you run out of coins and then can't answer the puzzle, even after you've tapped all of the blank panels, you're stuck. You can't progress to the next puzzle. Sure, you can leave that category and try a new one, but if you are set on completing that pack, what do you do?
100 Pics Quiz Answers is what you do. Go to that site and you will see thousands of solutions all organized in easy and convenient chunks. I only resorted to going here, when I had no other options. This game is enormous in length and scope and the developers are releasing two new category packs every single week.
There is a reason this game is doing so well on the Free App charts at the iTunes App Store. If you want to test your knowledge in a wide variety of topics (think Jeopardy-style), then this app is exactly what you want. There is not another app in the marketplace that has this number of levels.
Dozens of categories x 100 puzzles each = Hundreds Of Hours Of Fun Time!

Guess The 80s
It doesn't really matter which decade you prefer. If you were born in the 80s, this app is going to bring up a cornucopia of memories that should, in theory, brighten your day.
I grew up in video arcades and in front of my television set playing Atari. Rubik's Cubes were the bomb and MTV was like a heavy narcotic. I couldn't take my eyes off of it.
I swore up and down that I knew tons of info on the 80s. Leave it to these Random Logic yahoos to show me how I'm the equivalent in IQ of a bag of rocks.
Thank goodness I could go to Guess The 80s Answers to get my swerve on. The game starts off easy, but gets more difficult. I didn't keep up with a lot of the toys and fad stuff, so this site saved me a ton of time and aggravation. If you are a fan of the 80s, you're going to love playing this picture quiz app. Free Apps are a good thing.

Guess The 90s
I know I'm getting old when the 1990s becomes a nostalgia trip for the masses. Classic Rock stations playing grunge tunes is so mind-boggling to me.
While visiting the iTunes App Store, I saw a free app for a game called, Guess The 90s. It seemed pretty straightforward, so I gave it a shot.

The graphics for this game are pretty sweet, but I was a bit disappointed with there being just one picture for the hint. It's nice that they list what the category of the picture, in case you are drawing blanks.
If you happened to grow up in the 90s, a lot of old memories should come rushing to your brain. All of your favorite TV shows, toys, games and more await in this game. I found myself getting stuck on more obscure show references, merely because I either never watched them or got them confused. After all, the Saved By The Bell and Blossom shows are obvious, but I was more of an outdoor kid then.
I never thought I would need to do this, but I caught myself having to go to Guess The 90s Answers for some quick fixes. There are hundreds of different levels and hours of fun enjoyment that are headed your way.

What's Missing
In a fit of reverse engineering, What's Missing goes against the grain and asks you to figure out what word is missing from the 4 Pictures presented. This picture puzzle quiz app presents each puzzle, as a batch, with the 4th image being a question mark.
Your objective is to figure out what the images are presenting you and what the missing image represents. If you happen to get stuck, there are a few lifelines at your disposal. Reveal A Letter, Remove Letters and Skip A Level are available, only in limited quantity.
As you make your way through the puzzles, eventually you will run out of your boosts. There's nothing to worry about, however, as What's Missing Answers has your back covered. Every level that is in the game is available on the site for a quick and convenient viewing. So, if you need to get back on track, the folks at What's Missing Answers have the solution.

4 Pics 1 Movie
I have a lot of friends that are, what I term, "movicados". In Los Angeles there are a lot of different things to be rabid about. I'm not much of a movie fan. I like them and will watch a few at ArcLight or Laemmle Theaters, but I don't have this intrinsic need to go spend 2-3 hours in a theater being annoyed by jerks who don't turn off their cell phones or lines.
There's a mobile app that takes all of the elements of your graphic trivia app, but adds a twist by making every puzzle about a movie. 4 Pics 1 Movie is a great free app for those that are really into movies. I enjoyed playing this game, but readily admit I totally suck at movie trivia. Don't ask me to get the right question, during a game of Trivial Pursuit.
Anyways, it's because of my lack of music trivia knowledge that I catch myself visiting 4 Pics 1 Word Movie Answers to help me along in the levels. I don't spend a lot of time playing the games because I'm always in review mode, but I can definitely say that if you run out of boosts or want a convenient way to get the answer and keep the game flowing, you should give 4 Pics 1 Word Movie Answers a shot.

Words With Friends
I know that at this point in the digital revolution (2014), Words With Friends has already run its course. The initial buzz has worn off and now, those that still play the game will do so because they love Scrabble and the art of the crossword.
I can't honestly say that I'm a huge player or addicted to the mobile app. I would be categorized as a casual fan that's not very good at Words With Friends. Usually, I will lose more than I win, but enjoy playing the game with random opponents, nonetheless.
A website that I use, while playing Words With Friends, is a database search engine, called Words With Friends Cheats.
The name is a bit misleading because, while it might give you a master list of all the words possible to play based on what letters you have in your rack, you still have to figure out a decent word and hope you have the room and space to play it properly.
What I'm trying to say is that finding the word to play is only one facet to this game. I view Words With Friends like a 3D Chess Match (ie. Star Trek). Playing the right word, finding the right spot on the board to play that word for maximum value and maintaining an aggressive, yet defensive posture that prevents your opponent from playing the monster word are all elements to take into consideration.
Words With Friends Cheats gives you the basic foundation to make a better informed decision. The right word placement is crucial to any victory and that's 100% on all you to achieve. This isn't the same thing as a nice board game of Scrabble, but if you are wanting to learn about long-term strategy and increase your vocabulary, I recommend accessing Words With Friends Cheat to coincide with your Words With Friends gameplay.
